Keeping Art Alive
Help Keep Art Alive by donating and
helping the cause. Anything will help $1, $5, 10, $100 or any amount will do. Thank you in Advance.
When the economy sours, budgets get cut. Fine Arts programs ofthen land on the cutting block
early because they are not seen as essential. According to an article in the Providence Journal, "In many cases, (School)
districts are cutting Art programs, calling them luxuries they can no longer afford." Art programs do have value, but
people have to prove their value to the officials in charge of the budgets or find a way to garner budgetary support another
way. Organized, creative, vocal groups of people can counteract the cuts and save the Arts programs.
